Universitas Sumatera Utara Business Restructuring Meeting: Focus on the Health Cluster

Badan Pengelola Usaha Universitas Sumatera Utara held a business restructuring meeting focused on the health cluster, involving representatives from Poliklinik Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis Hospital, and Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital. The meeting aimed to strengthen synergy among the health service units under Universitas Sumatera Utara in order to enhance efficiency, service quality, and the institution’s competitiveness in the healthcare sector.

Badan Pengelola Usaha Universitas Sumatera Utara held a business restructuring meeting focused on strengthening the health cluster, which took place in the TTU Meeting Room at the Rectorate Bureau of Universitas Sumatera Utara. The meeting was attended by representatives from three major business units in the health services sector which are Poliklinik Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis Hospital, and Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss restructuring strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency, service integration, and enhancing the competitiveness of the university’s healthcare business units. 

During the meeting, each representative from the business units presented the current conditions and challenges faced in managing healthcare services. The discussion was constructive, emphasizing the importance of cross-unit collaboration to establish an integrated, professional, and sustainable healthcare system. Additionally, the development of a new business model that is more adaptive to the needs of the community was also a key topic of discussion. 

 

Universitas Sumatera Utara is fully committed to supporting this restructuring process as part of a strategic effort to position the university as a center of excellence in education and healthcare services in North Sumatra. It is expected that the outcomes of this restructuring will not only enhance the quality of healthcare services but also contribute significantly to the university’s overall revenue.
