The Business Management Agency of Universitas Sumatera Utara (BPU USU) supports the readiness of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU) in the planned implementation of dental health examinations for new students of Universitas Sumatera Utara. This support was realized through the facilitation of a coordination meeting as an initial step to align concepts and service readiness.
The coordination meeting, held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, was attended by BPU USU and led by the Head of BPU USU, Dr. Doli Muhammad Jafar Dalimunthe, S.E., M.Si. The event was attended by the Director of RSGM USU, drg. Siti Salmiah, Sp.KGA., Subsp.KKA(K)., FICD, the Vice Director I of RSGM USU, drg. Ranu Putra Armidin, MKM, the RSGM USU leadership team, as well as the leadership of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
The meeting discussions focused on planning the implementation of dental health examinations for new students, including facility readiness, resource support, and the design of an effective and integrated service flow. This forum served as an initial coordination platform to unify the understanding of all related parties before the final decision regarding the program implementation is established.
The main objective of the planned dental health examinations is to optimize the function of RSGM USU as a business unit while also supporting academic activities and dental health services for students. The involvement of RSGM USU in dental health examinations is expected to create continuity in students’ medical records, enabling them to receive structured follow-up care throughout their academic journey at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Through the facilitation provided by BPU USU, it is expected that the implementation of dental health examinations for new students will run in an orderly and structured manner, while providing comfort for participants. The synergy between BPU USU and the business units under its management reflects a commitment to supporting academic services and improving service quality within Universitas Sumatera Utara.
