Medan, January 6, 2026 — The Business Management Agency of Universitas Sumatera Utara (BPU USU) held a coordination meeting with the Language Center of Universitas Sumatera Utara from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The meeting aimed to evaluate the Language Center’s performance throughout 2025, discuss the status of the business unit, and review plans for service development in 2026. The evaluation noted that policy dynamics and operational efficiency have influenced the performance outcomes of the business unit.
Currently, the Language Center’s services are still predominantly used by internal users; however, there is significant potential to expand services to external stakeholders. Strengthening human resources and diversifying services were identified as key focus areas for future development. This meeting forms part of broader efforts to reinforce strategic planning, ensuring that the Language Center continues to contribute to academic activities and the development of language services within Universitas Sumatera Utara.
