Medan, January 5, 2026 — The Business Management Agency of Universitas Sumatera Utara (BPU USU) held a coordination meeting with the Universitas Sumatera Utara Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU) from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The meeting aimed to review RSGM USU’s performance throughout 2025, discuss the status of the business unit, and outline development plans for implementation in 2026.
During the meeting, it was reported that RSGM USU’s performance in 2025 was considered to have progressed well. The presence of teaching staff holding valid practice licenses at RSGM USU was identified as one of the key factors supporting improved performance and service delivery. In addition, RSGM USU continues to strengthen its role as a teaching hospital in support of academic activities and clinical practice.
The discussion also addressed the need to strengthen human resources and future service development plans. Space optimization and reorganization were identified as strategic options to support increased capacity and service quality. RSGM USU plays a strategic role as a center for dental and oral health services, as well as a facility for education and clinical training for students.
